The NorcalMLK Foundation's Black & Brown Comix Arts Festival (BCAF) is happy to partner with Comic-Con International to host its Animation panel at WonderCon 2022 in Anaheim, California, on April 2.

BCAF will host the panel LARPs: Creating New Outlets for BIPOC Comics. BCAF's Stanford Carpenter will host this panel featuring Ytasha Womack (Afrofuturism: The World of Black Sci-Fi and Fantasy Culture, Chicago: Lawrence Hill Books; Rayla 2212, Chicago: YSolstar); Henry Barajas (La Voz De M.A.Y.O.: Tata Rambo, Image Comics), and J. Gonzo (La Voz de M.A.Y.O.: Tata Rambo, Image Comics) on ways Live-Action Role Playing enables live audiences to immerse themselves in stories and opens up a new avenue for BIPOC creators to get their stories into the world through live, immersive, cosplay performances.

WonderCon 2022 represents the seventh panel partnership with Comic-Con Internation, hosts of the San Diego Comic-Con, the largest popular culture event in the U.S.
